AI × NHI Convergence

A State of the World Forum Strategic Initiative 2025–2030

Two high-probability, high-impact disruptions are converging — exponential agentic AI and increasing UAP/NHI Disclosure. The impact of this convergence challenges everything we think we know about both AI and UAP/NHI, the implications of which will transform humanity’s identity and relationship with both technology and cosmos. The time to educate and prepare society and industry is now.

This Strategic Initiative will convene a multi-year global exploration of this extraordinary intersection in order to provide data and insights into how humanity now needs to integrate both artificial intelligence and non-human intelligence in a way that co-creates a positive future.

How? By bridging consciousness and computation towards a theory of non-human intelligence.

Frontier models are being deployed rapidly across the globe; UAP controlled by NHI appear in our skies above civilian and classified airspace beyond our control. We are finding ourselves confronted by two non-human intelligences we don’t fully understand with multi-trillion-dollar consequences for governance, security, industry and society at a planetary level. Across both, we lack a working theory of non-human intelligence and a shared way to assess risk, capability, intent and most importantly, opportunity.

The State of the World Forum’s Strategic Initiative AIxNHI is a think-and-do tank that brings AI alignment and UAP/NHI communities into a common dialogue to turn siloed insights into shared language, comparable methods and usable playbooks for researchers, agencies, industry and the interested public.

Why Now:

  • Emerging Reality: Two high-probability, high-impact disruptions are converging; exponential AI and an accelerating UAP/NHI Disclosure.

  • Convergence: AI alignment and UAP/NHI provenance increasingly ask the same questions — interpretation, behavior, control and oversight across distinct intelligences.

  • Normalization: Public interest in both AI and NHI is high, stigma is falling, institutions are investigating, formalizing and reporting.

  • Builders are Here: A wave of startups, business developments and citizen-science networks are creating instruments, datasets and tooling that need standards to be credible.

2026 Focus — Create the Map, Create the Momentum

Creating a shared glossary and concept atlas used across AI and UAP/NHI intent/alignment research.

In 2026, we will convene leading researchers from AI alignment and UAP/NHI to build a shared conceptual map that accelerates cross-field progress. This “concept atlas” will align terms, surface open questions, and link evaluation methods (e.g., provenance, chain-of-custody, calibration, replication, alignment, behavior and evaluation). The map becomes the reference for joint experiments, replication challenges, and policy briefs.

Envisioned Programs (2026–2030):

Architecture Forum: Protocols for signal detection, interpretation, and cross-intelligence interactivity.

  • Open Evidence Network: Multimodal observation nodes, open datasets, and replication challenges to raise data quality.

  • Fellowship & Working Groups: Outcome-driven cohorts spanning safety, sensing, psychology and communications.

  • Reference Pipelines & Benchmarks: Enabling independent teams to replicate claims.

  • Governance Playbooks: Empowering agencies and labs to make decisions with confidence.

  • Data Quality Uplift: Rise in data quality, comparability, and credible findings—and fewer dead-ends driven by stigma or siloed methods.

Who this serves:

Public agencies and policymakers, AI safety and research labs, defense and security analysts, universities and institutes, industry and investors, citizen scientists seeking clear standards for awareness, research and contribution.
